Tupac first started rapping at 15 which was when he hung around with the street gangs in Oakland California. Tupac's big career launch came when he joined a rap group called digital underground. Tupac's first album was called 2-Pacalypse now which was a success but his career really took off when he released "Brenda's got a baby", this then got him a part in the motion picture "juice." Tupac kept on releasing albums such as "strictly for my niggas"and "Me against the world" and each one got bigger and bigger. After 2-Pac came out of jail he released the album all eyes on me which was huge and sold 6 million copies. Tupac then stared in 3 other hit movies but on the 17th of September 1996  Tupac was shot by unknown gunmen  and died. After Tupac was killed he sold more albums then ever and carried on releasing singles and albums and even today people are still buying his records and will carry on selling for a long time.
